Leonardo Hotel Almere City Center

The room was clean, spacious and well appointed. It was temperature controlled which was beneficial and the tea and coffee facilities were excellent. It was nice to have a separate seating area in the room and the option of having a bath or shower.

we had 2 connecting rooms. The rooms are big enough. The location of the hotel and parking were great. I consider the shortcomings to be: poor control of the TV (in one of the rooms we could not turn on the TV). In one of the rooms, the door to the bathroom could not be closed, the waste was not draining well. There was no hand soap at the sink. The breakfast is good, but it is unhygienic to cut the vegetables yourself (the vegetables are touched by other guests beforehand). Despite the shortcomings, we enjoyed our 4-day stay at the hotel.

Was a clean and unique location. The facilities were really good, and enjoyed a nice bath. The beds slept like clouds of fluff, so we slept like babies. The staff was very friendly and helpful, despite our first person on the reception desk not speaking Dutch, which is a bit weird in a Dutch city.

The property was right on the water and not far from public transportation. It was also right across from Almere Centre with the shopping centers.

Breakfast is good and I liked that is until late in the weekend. I love the late check out policy - at 12! Nice located at the end of pedestrian area and the lake. Walking distance to the train station and regional bus stop.
